Until we understand, or arrive at, a finite definition for the concept of normal behavior, any treatment designed to reach that objective is purely subjective.
Laws are designed to compartmentalize normal behavior, thereby extending favor to what is generally considered acceptable reaction to a given problem or situation.
Lawyers, on the other hand, are trained to tip the scale of acceptable reaction which, in the long term, tips the scale of normal behavior.
For example, there was a time when a wrong, was a wrong, was a wrong. Today, every defense that could possibly be extracted from arguments made outside the court of reasonable thought further teases the fuse of insanity and chaos with ignition.
Radical liberal views, and widespread apathy is the most dangerous foe facing our country today. It lurks behind a veil of ignorance and feeds on unsettling acts against life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It trades that which is just and right with another notch in the upward movement of one’s career and personal gain.
That which follows insanity and chaos is anarchy.
